After losing a tough game to Lake Hamilton a week earlier, Watson Chapel and senior quarterback Cornovious Branch had no problem putting away the Texarkana Razorbacks 30-6 in Class 6A play Friday.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Wildcats posted three touchdowns before halftime—including two by senior running back Kevin Johnson, and one by junior running back Christopher Jones.
Watson Chapel picked up its sixth win of the 2009 season. The Razorbacks fell to 2-6.
The Wildcats will face the Sheridan Yellowjackets this Friday, while the Razorbacks are on the road at Lake Hamilton.
